Following the termination of various USAID programs in Ethiopia, RTI will implement a U.S. Department of State–funded program in FY26. The Feed the Future Ethiopia Transforming Agriculture (ETA) activity seeks to increase access to healthy diets, particularly for women and children, by improving the competitiveness, inclusiveness, and resilience of the food and agriculture systems.   In FY 2026, RTI also participates in the implementation of the Poverty Reduced Sustainably in an Environment of Resilient and Vibrant Economy (PReSERVE) activity, led by Food for the Hungry as the prime implementer in the Amhara region of Ethiopia. This activity seeks to address and mitigate acute levels of food insecurity experienced by communities in Amhara. In addition, RTI recently began implementing a five-year project funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The project, known as SunGold, is designed to strengthen Ethiopia’s underdeveloped sunflower sector. The organization operates in four regions of Ethiopia: Somali, Oromia, Afar, and South Ethiopia, with the mission of improving and strengthening the capacities of pastoralist and agro-pastoralist communities through development, emergency, and peacebuilding initiatives. PAPDA is currently looking for an eligible audit firm to audit the organization’s one-year account from January 1st to December 31st, 2025 Only Competent and certified Auditors, who are also authorized by AABE and are in the list of FDEE Authority for civil society organizations (ACSO) and who fulfill the following requirements, are invited to submit their proposals. Taxpayer identification number & VAT Registration Certificate, valid Renewed Trade license Well-organized organizational profile consisting of audit experience in general and NGOs in particular, staff composition, and other useful information.
