Medical Teams International (MTI) Invitation to Bid for Life Insurance, Group Personal Accident (GPA), and Medical Insurance Services for all MTI Operational sites. MTI Provides lifesaving medical and humanitarian assistance to populations affected by crisis. CODE Eligibility and General Requirements Operational and Service Capacity Requirements 1 – Proven experience in managing Life, CAI, GPA and Medical Insurance services for international NGOs – Evidence of Financial Stability and operational credibility, demonstrated through submission of the following mandatory documents: · Addis Ababa, Afar, Amhara, Tigray, Somali and Benshangul- Gumuz regions Interested – Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience and operational capacity to provide insurance services for organizations operating in Ethiopia. In Ethiopia, AAE works to challenge various forms of power and build capacities to create people agencies of a critical mass of communities especially women and girls living in poverty and exclusion to fulfill their rights, ensure redistribution of resources, and build their resilience. We prioritize working with women and girls and their organizations, networks of civil society organizations, national and local government, and other allies to overcome gender injustice and structural causes of poverty, we engage in national-level policy works to influence the agendas of women and girls to tackle gender injustice. ActionAid Ethiopia (AAE) is implementing the Scaling Child Care to Promote Women’s Economic Empowerment and Child Development project in collaboration with Policy Study Institute (PSI), Addis Ababa Bureau of women, Children & Social Affairs, and Addis Ababa Mayor Office Strategic program management office, with support from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and Global affair Canada , aiming to enhance access to quality childcare, support women’s economic participation, and strengthen child development outcomes. For this to be workable model childcare workers play a critical role in the protection, wellbeing and development of children. Despite their essential contribution, many childcare workers face limited opportunities to participate in policy discussions and decision-making platforms that directly affect their work and the quality of childcare services. Strengthening their awareness of their rights, especially the right to be represented and meaningfully engaged in relevant forums, is essential in ensuring improved service delivery, enhanced accountability and more inclusive policy processes. This awareness-raising initiative is implemented under the Scaling Child Care Project, with technical and knowledge contributions informed by studies conducted by Policy study institutes (PSI). The PSI study provides evidence on childcare service gaps, workforce challenges, and inclusiveness in service delivery, which directly informs the design of this capacity-building intervention. Objective Overall objective of the training is to enhance childcare workers’ awareness and capacity to exercise their rights to represent and participate, while promoting inclusive, equitable, and disability-responsive childcare service delivery through strengthened skills and collective engagement Scope of Work The consultant will: Facilitate participatory training sessions for childcare workers Deliver sessions on: – Rights and legal frameworks – Representation and participation mechanisms – Collective voice and organizing – Advocacy and communication skills – Inclusive and disability-responsive childcare services – Apply participatory and adult-learning methodologies – Support reflection, dialogue, and group learning processes Application Requirement The consultant should demonstrate the following requirements in their application to be considered. The National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) is a central bank of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia with a vision to be a trusted guardian of Ethiopia’s monetary and financial systems and a mission to maintain price and external stability while ensuring a safe, modern, and inclusive financial system. Objective of the Consultancy: The major objective of the project is to provide evidence-based inputs to strengthen Ethiopia’s financial education efforts by reviewing the implementation and results of NFES 2021–2025 and developing a coherent, inclusive, and implementable National Financial Education Strategy for the period 2026–2030. The specific objectives of the consultancy service are the following: Review of NFES 2021–2025; Assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, and sustainability of NFES 2021–2025. Measure the extent to which the strategy’s objectives, targets, and outcomes were achieved. Identify success factors, implementation challenges, unintended effects, and key lessons learned. Provide actionable recommendations to inform the design and implementation of NFES 2026–2030. Development of NFES 2026–2030; Develop a forward-looking National Financial Education Strategy aligned with national strategies, development priorities, and international good practices. Identify emerging opportunities, risks, and constraints affecting financial education/literacy in Ethiopia. Define clear strategic objectives, priority actions, targets, governance arrangements, implementation plan, financing considerations, and a robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks. The consultancy service should primarily focus on developing the National Financial Education Strategy-II (NFES, 2026-2023) with its implementation framework. Likewise, reviewing the existing NFES (2021-2025) implementation including, assessing implementation status against its objective and target, overarching implementation challenges, and identifying stock taking financial education programs of providers will be part of the assignment. The assignment is expected to be completed within five (5) months’ time. Interested consultants of this assignment are subject to the IFAD’s Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorist Financing Policy, as well as the Revised IFAD Policy on Preventing Fraud and Corruption in its Activities and Operations.
