Cumulative volume of work for the past 3 years is at least 13,000,000 ETB and above. Experience as a primary contractor for the past years especially in an emergency response projects and successfully accomplished it is considered advantageous. Bidders must submit a site inspection confirmation letter, officially stamped and confirmed by the Nyangatom Water and Energy Mine Office and the ASDEPO Nyangatom Field Office. Financial Criteria Financial proposals shall be offered based on the BOQs which indicate validity period. Bid bond- 5% of the financial offer shall be presented. Additional requirement The winning contractor will deliver all materials input for the rehabilitation work. Section 1: Invitation to Bid The Ethiopian Red Cross Society Amhara Regional Branch North Shoa Zonal  Branch office invites eligible and qualified contractors of category of GC-5, BC-5, and above with valid trade license, registration certificate, and eligible for the works (Building Maintenance Work in Amhara Region, North Shoa Zone, at Molale and Bash Health Centers in Manzimama Woreda. Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding document paying a non-refundable ETB 500 (Five Hundred Birr) from ERCS North Shoa Zonal Branch office. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopian Red Cross Society, North Shoa Zonal Branch office along with a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in acceptable CPO ONLY SPECIFIED IN THE BIDDING DATA SHEET amounting to 2% of the bid offer, on separate envelope. The bid bond should be valid for 28 days after bid validity. Financial offer shall be produced in separate envelopes labeled as ORIGINAL and COPY. TECHNICAL OFFER shall be made in a separate third wax sealed envelope clearly labeled as TECHNICAL OFFER. The three envelopes shall then be sealed, signed and stamped inside a sealed, signed and stamped outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopian Red Cross Society whose address is mentioned below. Bid will be closed on 15th consecutive calendar day at 2:00 pm, and technical document will be opened on the same day at 2:30 pm in the presence of those bidders on their authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event at ERCS North Shoa Zonal Branch office meeting hall. If the 15th consecutive calendar day’s day is a holiday, closing and opening will be the next working day.
