Terms of Reference: Event & Conference Organizer for Christian Blind Mission (CBM) Partnership Summit – Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Background CBM is organizing the Partnership Summit to be held from 9– 13 November 2026 (including arrival, event and departure) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Summit will bring together key partners, stakeholders, and participants globally. To ensure a high-quality event, CBM seeks the services of a professional Conference and Event Organizer to manage the full cycle of planning and execution.   Scope of Work / TORs The Conference and Event Organizer will be responsible  for the coordination of overall design, planning,  and successful  delivery of the Summit  in close liaison with CBM. The anticipated number  of participants from different  countries  is approximately  160 -200. Responsibilities include                      but                      are                      not                      limited                      to:   1. Planning & Coordination Ensure that selected  event venue in Addis Ababa is adequate and appropriate for the number of participants and meets overall international conference standards including but not limited to available facilities, safety and security, accessibility etc. Visit event  venue  and use a Gant Chart/Workplan  to develop  detailed  plans for key deliverables that will lead to overall success of the event. Develop a space layout plan aligned with Summit objectives. Manage registration  processes during the conference for all participants. Coordinate  special   event   sessions   such   as  receptions,  panel   discussions,   and exhibitions. Work closely with the hotel management and CBM to oversee event logistics, safety and security measures, protocol management, and accessibility requirements. Manage and coordinate airport transfers & Local transport (within Addis Ababa) Oversee the  printing  of conference  materials  (if needed)  in collaboration with the Country Office Team Work closely with CBM  Ethiopia  Country Office to  ensure  availability  of adequate number  of Sign Language Interpreters, Sighted  Guides and  simultaneous language interpreters. 2. Program Development Facilitate speaker identification (Keynote speaker), acquisition, and confirmation (final approval rests with CBM) Coordinate local speaker logistics (travel, briefing, session prep) Work with the hotel management in ensuring that facilities for language translation in the agreed languages are available (simultaneous language interpreters) Manage delegate  support including communication, travel guidance, accommodation coordination, and local transport. Facilitate session flow and transitions Provide or coordinate professional moderators (if required) Note:Strategic content and themes remain the responsibility of CBM   3. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Develop and manage communication workflows with speakers, partners, and participants. Produce event-related content as required including rapporteurs Work closely with CBM Ethiopia County Office to ensure correct CBM branding and visibility including setting up of exhibition booths Undertake press coordination and management during the entire summit 4. Event Leadership Lead onsite event execution, managing all teams and activities. In collaboration with the CBM Ethiopia Country Director, serve as the main point of contact before, during, and after the event. 5. Expected Deliverables The Event Organizer will be required to deliver the following measurable outputs: Pre–Event Deliverables Detailed Event Workplan (with timelines and milestones) – within 3 weeks of contract signing Approved Event Concept & Design (layout, branding, participant flow) Registration System (live and functional, with tracking dashboard) Confirmed speaker list and draft agenda (at least 4 weeks prior to the event) During Event Deliverables Fully executed Summit program with no major disruption Daily coordination reports (brief summaries of progress/issues) Maintain operational and convenient real-time participant support desks     Post–Event Deliverables Produce final Event Report (within 10 working days), including but not limited to: o Attendance statistics   o Session summaries (rapporteur output) o Media coverage and communications report o Financial reconciliation report All event materials (presentations, recordings, photos, etc.)       6. SSD has registered with the Authority for Civil Societies Organizations (ACSO) with re-registration number 0034. SSD is looking for a competent consultant for the revision and development of Financial/accounting policies and procedures manual and Property management manual which strengthen organizational internal control system. Objectives The overall objective is to develop a Financial/accounting policies and procedures manual and Property management manual to streamline the financial and property management function of SSD. Scope of Work Financial/accounting policies and procedures manual:- Identify gaps of existing financial manual of the organization in accordance current revised government policies, market status, and analyze the accounting and financial management requirements of SSD. The Financial Management Manual should include consistent and uniform accounting policies, accounting of transactions with adequate controls, guidance on authority of delegation and segregation of duties, payment, cash and bank management, documentation requirements for payment and expenses, asset management, payroll process, security for cash management etc. Review and develop an appropriate financial manual to ensure proper processing, accounting, management and reporting of project funds and transactions with improved internal controls to ensure accountability to program participants, stakeholders and donors as per IPSAS Procedures. The assessment would be performed through desk review of existing legal and procedural frameworks, consultations/interviews of relevant staff and members of senior management team and general observation of work practice. Deliverables Financial/accounting policies and procedures Manual, and Property Manual. Time Span This assignment is expected to be carried out for a period of 30 working-days. Work Requirements The selected consultant(s) will not have to start from the scratch but SSD has Financial/accounting policies and procedures manual and Property management manual Therefore, SSD needs to recruit consultant for updating these manuals and developing new ones mentioned here under: Updating the Financial/accounting policies and procedures manual as per IPSAS Procedures . የሐራጅ ማስታወቂያ ቁጥር፡- 003/2/2018 ገዳ ባንክ አ.ማ በአዋጅ ቁጥር 97/90 እና 216/1992 በተሰጠው ሥልጣን መሠረት ለሰጠው ብድር በዋስትና የያዘውን ከታች በሰንጠረዡ የተገለጸን ንብረት ባለበት ሁኔታ በግልጽ ሐራጅ አወዳድሮ ለመሸጥ ይፈልጋል፡፡ የተበዳሪው ስም የንብረት አስያዥ ስም አበዳሪው ቅርንጫፍ የተሽከርካሪው አይነት፣ የሚገኝበት አድራሻ፣ የሰሌዳ ቁጥርና ሞተር ቁጥር የጨረታ መነሻ ዋጋ የጨረታው ቀንና ሰዓት ጨረታው የወጣው የመኪና አይነት     ንብረቱ የሚገኝበት ቦታ የሰሌዳ ቁጥር የተሰራበት ዘመን የሻንሲ ቁጥር የሞተር ቁጥር ሞዴል ቀን  ሰዓት   ሪኖ ዋን ትሬዲንግ ኃ/የተ/የግ/ማ   ወ/ሪት ካሳች አለ ህሉፍ   ዶሎ ቢዴና ጃፓን ቶዮታ ላንድ  ኪሩዘር (V8) አዲስ አበባ ጎተራ ወንጌላዊት ህንፃ ፊት ለፊት በሚገኘው የባንኩ ዋና መስሪያ ቤት አአ-02-B27246 2018         JTMHV01J8J5042724 1VD-0448091 VDJ200L-GNTAZV 18‚500‚000.00   22/10/2018   4:00-5፡00 ለሁለተኛ ጊዜ   ተጫራቾች የጨረታ ማስከበሪያ የጨረታውን መነሻ ዋጋ 25% በባንክ በተረጋገጠ የክፍያ ሰነድ/ሲ.ፒ.ኦ አሰርተው ጨረታው በሚካሄድበት ዕለት ይዘው መቅረብ ይኖርባቸዋል፡፡ በጨረታው ከፍተኛ ዋጋ ላልሰጡ ተጫራቾች ያስያዙት ገንዘብ ወዲያዉኑ ይመለስላቸዋል፡፡ ጨረታው በሰንጠረዡ ላይ በተጠቀሰው ቀንና ሰዓት ባለዕዳዎቹ ወይም ሕጋዊ ወኪሎቻቸው እና ታዛቢዎች በተገኙበት በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ቂርቆስ ክ/ከተማ ወረዳ 3 በተለምዶ ጎተራ ወንጌላዊት ህንፃ አከባቢ በሚገኝ ገዳ ባንክ ህንፃ 7ኛ ፎቅ ላይ ይካሄዳል፡፡ በዕለቱ ባለ ዕዳዎች እና ታዛቢዎች ባይገኙም ጨረታው ይካሄዳል፡፡ ድርጅቶች ጨረታው ላይ ለመሳተፍ ተረጋግጦ የተመዘገበ የመመስረቻ ፅሁፍ እና እንደአስፈላጊነቱ መተዳደሪያ ደንብ እና ቃለ-ጉባኤዎች ማቅረብ ይኖርባቸዋል፡፡ የተጫራቾች ምዝገባ ከሐራጅ መዝጊያ በፊት ይጠናቀቃል፡፡ የጨረታ መጠናቀቂያ ሰዓት ድረስ ከፍተኛ ዋጋ የሰጠ ተጫራች ካልተለየ አስኪለይ ድረስ ጨረታው የሚቀጥል ይሆናል፡፡ በጨረታው ከፍተኛ ዋጋ ያቀረበ ተጫራች ማሸነፉን የሚገልጽ ደብዳቤ ከባንኩ የህግ አገልግሎት መምሪያ ሲደርሰው ብቻ አሸናፊ ይባላል፡፡ ጨረታውን ያሸነፈ ተጫራች አሸናፊ መሆኑ በጽሁፍ ከተገለጸበት ቀን ጀምሮ ያሸነፈበትን ዋጋ በ15 ቀን ውስጥ ለባንኩ አጠቃሎ ገቢ ማድረግ ይኖርበታል፡፡ በተጠቀሰው ጊዜ ውስጥ ገቢ የማያደርግ የጨረታ አሸናፊ ያስያዘው ሲፒኦ ለባንኩ ገቢ ሆኖ ጨረታው ይሰረዛል፡፡ በተጨማሪም ንብረቱ በድጋሚ ለሐራጅ ሲቀርብ ለሚፈጠረው ልዩነት ይጠየቃል፡፡ ንብረቱ በገዢው ስም እንዲዞር ባንኩ ለሚመለከተው መንግስታዊ አካል ደብዳቤ ይጽፋል፡፡ ጨረታውን ያሸነፈ ተጫራች ንብረቱን በማስተላለፍ ሂደት ለመንግስት የሚከፈሉ ክፍያዎች ግብር፣ ተጨማሪ እሴት ታክስ፤ የስም ማዛወሪያ እና ማናቸዉም ከጨረታው ጋር በተገናኘ መንግስት የሚጠይቀውን ክፍያ ይከፍላል፡፡ ተጨራቾች ለጨረታ የቀረበውን ንብረት በስራ ሰዓት ፕሮግራም አስይዘው ለመጎብኘት ይችላሉ፡፡ ለተጨማሪ መረጃ በስልክ ቁጥር 0920885734 ደውለው መጠየቅ ይቻላል፡፡ ባንኩ ጨረታውን በማንኛውም ጊዜ በከፊልም ሆነ ሙሉ በሙሉ የመሰረዝ መብቱ የተጠበቀ ነው፡፡
